Tricky Spots on the Enchilada, Taco, and Chips & Salsa Ride Routes

I am hoping most of you have paid attention to the route descriptions. Either print your route or get it up on your phone. You can view the routes here.

Chips & Salsa - The FHOP lap remains marked. After that, here are the keys.

*After you finish Walk in the Park, cross the gravel and get on Big Wow. Only ride the section that parallels the road. You will reach a spur. From there, get back on the main road and go right to the middle Road Trail.

*After the middle Road Trail, come back to the main gravel for a few yards. You will see the start of Half Pipe on the right. You will T into A-Bomb. Take a right to the road, then go left to Plan B.

*After you find your way to Plan B, ride that and Bitter Bitch then take gravel up to the top part of Jekyll. The key spot for you guys is that you take a left at the top of Jekyll and head over to Little Sister. This will put you on the way back home.

*At the bottom of the First Lower KMA, you will take a right on gravel and head to the Creek Trail. Be sure you get this right or you will be joining the Enchilada riders as they head to the bottom of the system for more climbing.

*After you ride the Creek Trail and climb out the Jeep Trail, Taco riders will be going right. You stay on the gravel up the incline, then get on Mr. T on the left side to finish.

Taco - Read the top three notes for the Chips & Salsa route. Follow those until you get to the top of Jekyll. Instead of going left, you go straight onto Vortex and head for the top of Legacy. Be sure you take the grassy spur to access Legacy, not SNB.

*The key place is at the bottom of Legacy. The Enchilada riders will be heading left and going back up a second time. You guys need to go straight onto WTF and then head down SNB and Creation.

*At the bottom of Creation, transition onto Deja Vu. Make sure you take a left and head over to Little Sister.

**At the bottom of the First Lower KMA, you will take a right on gravel and head to the Creek Trail. Be sure you get this right or you will be joining the Enchilada riders as they head to the bottom of the system for more climbing.

*After you ride up the Jeep Trail, take an immediate right on that cut-through trail. It will take you over to the gravel where you will make the difficult climb backwards on Predator to finish things off.

Enchilada - Read the first three items for the Chips & Salsa riders and follow those directions. Once you get to the top of Jekyll, ignore the Chips & Salsa left. Continue to the top of Legacy via the grassy spur (not SNB) and ride Legacy back down.

*Taco riders will be crossing the spur and riding WTF. Ignore that. You take a left, go back up Legacy and take the Trust Me turn-off.

*I think the trickiest spot is Upper SISL. Once you get to the big trees and line up for the DH, look on your left. You will see the start of Upper SISL. Cross the road and hit it. You will eventually come back across a second bridge and up a tough climb. Take a right. You will quickly see the rest of SISL across the road. Don’t go there. Go all the way back up the gravel to where you entered SISL. Go back over to Trust Me and ride it down.

*There is one trail intersection near the bottom of Trust Me. This is BOGO. It goes hard left. You will climb about .75, cross gravel, and go up a short hill. Be sure to take a right to ride the lower part of SISL.

*After ABV, there’s a gravel stretch to the Second Lower KMA. Watch for the arrow pointing left.

*When you finish the Second Lower KMA, take a slight left on gravel and then look for the right onto the Third Lower KMA.

*At the bottom of the Third Lower KMA, you go straight onto the Secret Garden. There is about 20 yards of common line where riders coming up Plan B could be on the line. Look for a hard right to continue down the Secret Garden.

*Go left and head back up Plan B and Bitter Bitch until you reach A-Bomb on your left about 75 yards before the gravel road. Go hard left on A-Bomb. At the bottom, look across the road for Soggy Bottom. Ride this and segue onto a left for the Beaver Pond. This will take you to Watershed where you go left.

*Watershed crosses the gravel once before coming out at a second gravel road. Take a right here and climb a bit. You will come out halfway up the Power Line Hill. Go left here to return to 465.
